Last year, I received a request, asking if I ever did any portraits of St. Ignatius Loyola. At the time, I hadn’t, but off and on I have worked on the painting above. I used several images of the saint to come up with a composite of sorts that I hope is a good resemblance. The person who asked me about painting Ignatius would like to buy this one, even without seeing it yet. I do not know if I would have such faith.
