Lilac Sprig 1

8×8″ oil paint on canvas panel; painted from live arrangement.

The scent from this lovely sprig surely got into the paint. The Spring flowers are so welcome after the crisp, cold snows of this past winter. The canvas panel used here was first toned in blue, and it was used in the painting process to enhance color for the lilac sprigs.
