Well, it’s a long title for a small work. I will probably paint a few more of Jesus with sheep, because the few I had have sold. I also have always mused over Jesus’ comparing us to his sheep; I think he knew a lot about sheep. Today is Ash Wednesday, beginning the season to follow him and listen for his voice.

    I fell in love with every one of your paintings but I feel like I could just walk into this painting and talk with Jesus. For such a simple subject as sheep, it sure speaks volumes to the rest of His flock. Beautiful!
