November Again

6×8″ oil on primed canvas sheet; use “comment” below to inquire.
In the last days of Fall, I did a couple of small paintings to memorialize them. One has already been posted (last week), and here is the second. The trees did not quickly let go of their leaves this season.
Dear Sister Marisa,
I am absolutely amazed at the beautiful art work you give to the Lord and and all His beings here on earth. You are so talented. I wish this talent had come out in Prepville. Remember those years? Anyway, I love this November painting. How long does it take you to do a painting? You have inspired me to take up the brush again also. I hope to see you the next time I visit Sister Mary Valerie. Have a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with many wonderful blessings!!
Love and prayers,
Sheila (Shirley)
Thank you so much, Sheila, for looking at my paintings, and for such kind words about the work. You know, I always loved making art…remember the fun snow days we had when we made the silly books from magazine pictures…that was some art there! Not to mention our talent shows. These little pieces will eventually end up in my store: Paintgrace on Etsy.com, but if you ever want me to hold something for you, I will surely do that. A small one like November Again, may take me a day and then another day for a fresh look and any touch ups it might need. Human faces…that’s another story…takes several days for me ususally. A Blessed advent-tide to you.
