This started out in sepia tones, and I intended only to add limited color. I do not usually throw much paint around since I protect walls, but for some reason, this painting begged the lacy look of spatter. What fun. (I did clean the walls). With a new camera, I am not having much luck posting the purity and saturation of color that is really in the painting, so this is a less rich image than the actual painting. I will keep seeking camera advice.

How beautiful! I can almost smell the beautiful roses. I”m studying Art History this semester in college and love it. Beautiful paintings are one of God’s joys, and you have been richly blessed Sister. Thank you for sharing.

      Dear Gabrielle,
I appreciate your kind words. Thank you for taking the time to look and to comment. It spurs me on to paint and spatter more. God bless all you study and write.

Gabrielle, does your name have any relation to one of my favorite impressionists?
