As a young student, I used to love the smell of the library, the cracked, worn pages, and the return home with all the stories they would tell. I hope this is not a fading scene under the digital barrage.

I couldn’t agree more, Sister! As a bibliophile who takes great pleasure in the tactile experiences of curling up with a good book, I was touched by your painting and the reassuring atmosphere it creates. Thanks for letting this little light shine!

What a nice surprise to find your comment, Tim. I can to some extent remember the smell of the Cleveland Heights Library after a bike ride up the hill. I am sure we share the same olfactory experiences.
