I have begun a series of the head of Christ in the same design in a square format. His words from the Gospels often give life to some of the facial expressions that are pulled from the paint. One day when he was pressed to work another “sign” or miracle, his answer was, “Unless you (people) see signs and wonders, you will not believe.” (Jn. 4:48)
