And so begins the Sacred Triduum, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. In the timeless words of the poet Joyce Kilmer:
Lord, Thou didst suffer more for me
Than all the hosts of land and sea.
So let me render back again
This millionth of Thy gift. Amen. (Prayer of a Soldier in France)

What a very inspiring art piece you have blessed us with Sister Maresa. It certainly gives one an opportunity for deep meditation. Dearest Jesus has given his all and devoted mother Mary continues to accept her suffering in the loss and suffering of her son. Such faith, acceptance, and love. It presents a model for us when we experience sorrow in our lives. We are not isolated, but are offered examples of Mary and Jesus who trusted in the Father. They ask that we do the same. Blessings to you.
You have said it so well, Carol. We cannot really imagine what Jesus physically suffered, let alone spiritually and psychologically. In her diary, St. Faustina wrote that the Lord told her how much it means to him when we think upon his sufferings all for love of us. I just want to squeeze in there and be one of those persons. Blessings of the Holy Days to you, and thank you, Carol.
