Zebra

Such wondrous creatures, don’t you think? And like fingerprints, no line patterns are ever the same.

Something Blue

After all the straight lines of the last painting (Harbor Haven 2), I just had to do some loose and floppy work. Flowers usually fit the bill.

Sunflowers and Roses

This bouquet served as a table centerpiece last spring, and I finally decided to render my photo of it in paint.

Juncos

Visiting my window recently are these sweet white-bellied Juncos. He has a black coat and hers is a little charcoal gray. I read that they will build their nests anywhere from tall grasses to treetops.

All My Heart

Weather has been sub-zero lately, making me want to snuggle with a cushy little bear. Oh, and they always love you back.

Collectedness

Below are the the earlier stages of this serene still life. The free photo I used was from the Pixabay website, and the only change I made was to give the stiff straight branches a bit of graceful curve.

By Any Other Name

“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Shakespeare’s Juliet.
