St. Francis, often a statue feature of many gardens, is remembered for his joy in all creatures of earth. To him, they were all his brothers and sisters. I used a painting knife to drag on the last layers of paint for a rough, stoney look.

I love this one, Maresa! Especially the contrast of the Rough Stoney look with soft, delicate curves of the little bird!
