Recently, I had the happiness of watching finches of great variety, flitting around and building nests with much happy chatter. I was especially drawn to the beauty of the gray and white one with the orange beak…very eye-catching. I do not know my finches, so I cannot tell you its variety…an Australian native perhaps?
