A Venetian Renaissance painter, Giovanni Bellini produced many sacred images in the 1400’s. His images of the Mother of Jesus are all delicate and sensitive, which I have echoed in a more modernistic style. This Image is from a work called: “Madonna and Child” but it seems there are many of Bellini’s works so titled.
