Does your heart have a room? Is it a room with a view? Is there a place for the Lord to sit down and make himself comfortable? Interiors sometimes inspire such thoughts in me. This is “Founder’s Room,” inside the retreat center called “Mercy by the Sea” in Madison, Connecticut. A wall of glass allows one to look out over the Long Island Sound and the lapping waters of the shore. The painting is completely simple and just for enjoyment.
