Rarely do I paint any scene twice, but this image from free photos on Pixabay still attracts me. Though slightly different from my earlier work, I had the same joy of of the casual rest of each pear and the bold stems and leaves.

In the actual painting, the yellows are more soft and subtle and the pinks are warmer than my camera can capture, even after much digital finessing. I liked the looseness of the flowers and worked for looseness with the paint.
