Today, the Christmas Season climaxes in the Feast of the Epiphany, the celebration of the manifestation of Christ among us, and the star manifested His presence to the shepherds and kings. I worked on this shepherdess over these traditional “Twelve Days of Christmas” with great gratitude to the four generations of Fontanini family for the enchanting image. I fell for the captivating figurine of about 7 inches tall when I was in Assisi Italy this past summer, and she posed for me.
