Dear Maresa, I love it when you show us the stages of a painting. It makes me appreciate your artistic skill even more. What I love about this painting are all the lines (as you mentioned): on the cloth, the glasses, and the plate–and how the sun shines through everything. This is simple lovely! Melannie
I am so glad you like the lines too, Sister Melannie. I thought maybe I had a very wierd way of seeing things! This one took many hours that I could not even guess how many ticked by. The color in the actual painting is a bit richer than the camera can catch. Thank you for your kind remarks.
