Raggedy Ann and Andy

Before I could read the words in a story book, I read the pictures of the antics of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Around the age of 4, when I was sick with the chicken pox or measles, my Mom gave me the book to number the pages….I think I got to page 23.

Happy Whites

Very loosely painted and purposely left a bit fuzzy.

Yellow Tulips in Blue Vase

The background and vase were successful; the tulips not so much. I just could not land the yellow I wanted, so this may be painted over (again).

Providence

Many thanks to the photographer of these strong mother instincts of care, sustenance, and providence. I find such wonderful images from time to time on the free photo site Pixabay.

Garden Path

I have worked on this image for some time through the pandemic. It is painted according to the wishes of the customer, meant for a large foyer wall. My digital images can never portray the color truth of such paintings, but this is close. The actual painting is softer in hues and tones.
