11 x 14″ oil paint on stretched canvas I tried to create movement in this scene with the flow of skirts and ribbons. The actual work has deeper, richer reds and warm pinks that escape the camera.
Still testing shadow tones of color…I like to have warm flesh undertones that will give life to the faces.
I start to apply darker tones of the color scheme in this stage, since shadows will be needed.
