Laughing Jesus
There are plenty of incongruities in the human condition that could make God laugh.
Lush Simplicity
Sometimes simple has a lot to say. This piece was a demo on how to let the toned board show through top layers of paint. It is a style and a technique of many impressionist painters.
Upon Our Waters
A bit whimsical of Jesus who walked upon our waters, perhaps this is a smile and a lift in stormy times.
Christmas Cards
From my oil painting “Child of Light”, I had these Christmas cards printed. If interested, they are now for sale on my art shop, 20 cards and envelopes in a set for $22. If you click on the Art Shop button at the top of this blog page (or below), you will see it as the first item listed. The 10 x 8″ painting on canvas is also still available.
Pears a’Plenty
Rarely do I paint any scene twice, but this image from free photos on Pixabay still attracts me. Though slightly different from my earlier work, I had the same joy of of the casual rest of each pear and the bold stems and leaves.
